It's the beginning of the Sew Age.

Gulf of Mexico
Late Triassic-A.D. 2010

Some future facts about the Gulf of Mexico:

  • A vast dead sea strangled beneath a layer of oil 300 feet thick.
  • Indigenous life: none.
  • The era will be know as the Sew Age.  Its literature will be "Sewerpunk."
  • Old folks will talk about fresh shrimp, birds, and white sand and the kids will laugh and call them crazy for babbling like that about the Petrol Gulf.

This is a wiki-oracle. Add your own prophecy.
